The Office Trivia: Can You Score 100% and Beat Michael Scott?

The Office Trivia

The Office was nominated for countless awards over its airing years, including 42 Emmy Awards. Isn’t that just impressive?

I personally love sitcoms. They’re quirky, engaging, and lighthearted. Out of all the sitcoms I’ve watched, The Office is my favorite, and for good reasons (which I’ll detail below).

If you’re a fan of the show, I have good news. Today, you can prove that you know everything there is to know about Michael Scott’s fierce workplace by taking this The Office trivia quiz!

Before we get into that, let’s go over the reasons why The Office is so good as a sitcom!

Why The Office Is So Good

The Office is one of the best sitcoms ever. I know that’s a hefty statement to make, but I truly believe in it, and here’s why:

It’s Relatable

The Office is a mockumentary, which means that the characters interact directly with the audience through the camera. Jimbo and the fellas ask the viewers questions, speak with them, express their feelings, and everything in between, making it easy to forget that you’re watching a TV show.

That’s why the show has a realistic feel to it – one that makes it super relatable, and that’s the reason it won Outstanding Comedy Series at the Emmys in its sophomore season. Believe me; it was no beginner luck.

It Has a Great Mixture of Drama and Comedy

The Office has a great way of building up extremely emotional moments with great payoffs, all while spraying some humor to remind the audience that the show is still a sitcom.

Take Jim and Pam’s relationship, for example. The two were in an awkward conundrum during the first three seasons because Jim had feelings for Pam when she was engaged. Although that story arc got so close to becoming a drama, it stood its ground as a comedy thanks to Jim’s jokes and the involvement of other characters to relieve the tension, which worked extremely well.

There’s a Great Harmony Between the Actors

I mean, come on, haven’t you noticed the chemistry between Steve Carell (aka Michael Scott) and Amy Ryan (aka Holly)?

All of the cast members are great when it comes to working in pairs, small groups, medium groups, and, of course, large groups. Even random characters, such as Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration feel like they’re regulars of the show.

It’s Gloriously Awkward

Cringe comedy is a real sub-genre, and while it may not appeal to everyone, it can be super funny for many viewers, myself included.

It Has a Ton of Running Gags

Michael Scott’s “That’s what she said” and Jim’s pranks on Dwight. Enough said.
