Where Should I Live In 2023? (Answer 20 Questions And Find Out)

Living abroad is a dream for many people, especially when looking at gorgeous photos of dream destinations. That’s why many people ask themselves “where should I live?” every single day.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s fun to scroll through Reddit or Pinterest and imagine what it would be like to live in a faraway place, but there’s more to leaving your country than Googling and seeing some nice photos.

You’re probably asking just to have some fun on a island, but let’s take the matter seriously for a second and take a look at the questions you should ask yourself before deciding to live abroad!

1.     What Would You Gain from Moving to Another Country?

Grab a pen and note down anything you’re hoping to gain from moving to another country. Are you looking for job opportunities? Do you want to master a new language? Do you want to improve your mental health?

2.     Are Your Goals for Moving Abroad Realistic?

Now that you’ve prepared a list of your dreams and hopes, it’s time for a small reality check. Go over the list again and, for each item, ask yourself: “will moving to another country actually help me achieve this?” and “Where should I live if I want to achieve this?”

3.     Are You Sure You’re Not Just Trying to Run Away from Your Problems?

This is the hardest question to answer, but it’s also the most important. Before finally deciding to leave, sit down and try to determine whether there’s a specific person, item, or situation that’s pushing you to run away and escape.

Now, without further ado, let’s get to the “where should I live?” quiz!
